Popular FAQs

Can I charge my EV with solar?

Yes — pairing an AC charger with rooftop solar and a smart controller can reduce grid electricity use and charging costs.

Is DC charging bad for batteries?

Occasional DC fast charging is fine; frequent DC charging can increase battery wear. Use AC overnight for routine charging.

Do I need three-phase power for faster charging?

Three-phase enables higher AC charger rates (11–22 kW) and suits commercial sites. Most homes are single-phase and work well with 7.4 kW chargers.

Where can I find rebates in NSW?

Check state government pages for current battery and solar incentives; we also publish simple guides and calculators.
